IMAlive Chat Testing
The beta test of the IMAlive chat messaging system will begin this summer! We had a great response from those who completed the beta test of the volunteer training developed by the QPR Institute and the Kristin Brooks Hope Center.

Pick Up The Phone Tour
The Pick Up The Phone Tour successfully launched this April with Blue October. Over three weeks the tour traveled to 24 cities and covered more than 8,000 miles in an effort to raise awareness for suicide prevention and financially support IMAlive. While the travels were taxing, the stories and support made the interstate hours more than worth it. Not only did the tour raise thousands of dollars for the program, we were also able to send a message of hope to more than 20,000 fans and grow a great relationship with the band who continue to serve as incredible ambassadors for the cause. The West Coast leg of the tour begins on Sept 4th Labor Day Weekend in San Antonio and wraps up in Boulder, CO on October 2nd with tour dates from Seattle to Los Angeles. Thanks to everyone who made the first half of the tour a success, and if you are on the West Coast we hope you will join us and Blue October this fall for the second half.
We've Won $100K For IMAlive
In January, IMAlive partners To Write Love on Her Arms finished 3rd in Chase Community Giving Contest. The IMAlive project is $100,000 closer to launching a network that will bring hope and help to thousands of people. The effort was only possible with the help of our partners at the Kristin Brooks Hope Center (1-800-SUICIDE) and Frank Warren and the passionate PostSecret community.
